Video Production Setup Consultation in Bengaluru
For teams building an in-house studio, and for the far more common case: you already bought the equipment, the room exists, and the output still isn't good. We audit what you have, tell you what to change and in what order, set it up, and train the people who will actually run it.
What we offer
Video Production Setup Consultation
Get the room, the kit and the workflow right — from a studio that produces on this equipment every week and takes no margin on selling it to you.
An audit of what you already own
Usually the cheapest and largest improvement available. Most underperforming setups are a signal-path, placement or settings problem rather than a shortage of equipment, and that is worth establishing before anyone spends again.
A specification, in priority order
What to buy, what to skip, and crucially what order to buy it in. A ranked list you can spend against over three quarters beats a single quote you cannot get approved.
Room and acoustics, honestly scoped
What your space genuinely needs versus what gets sold as necessary. Plenty of rooms are fixed with placement and soft furnishing; some need real treatment, and we will tell you which one you have.
Setup and commissioning
Cabling, camera and microphone positions, lighting, and the recording and streaming chain configured end to end — then tested by actually recording something rather than by powering it on.
Training and a written workflow
The part that decides whether any of it survives. Your people trained on your kit, plus a written start-up and recording checklist so the setup does not depend on one person remembering.
Try it before you buy it
Rent the exact setup we are recommending and shoot with it first. Committing capital to equipment nobody on the team has held is how studios end up unused.
How it runs
The same shape every time, so you know what is happening and when.
- 01
See the space and the gear
We come to your room, look at what you own and watch you record something the way you normally would. An hour of that finds more than a week of specification discussion.
- 02
Fix what is free first
Placement, levels, signal path and settings, before anything is bought. It is common for this step alone to close most of the gap, and it costs nothing but the visit.
- 03
Specify what is left, in order
A ranked list with what each item actually changes, so you can spend across quarters and stop wherever the budget stops rather than needing all of it at once.
- 04
Set it up and hand it over
Installed, commissioned by recording with it, then your team trained and left with a written checklist. If they need us to run it, we built the wrong thing.
Why Gloworks
One crew, one roof, start to finish.
We take no distributor margin
We produce and rent on this equipment; we don't resell it. Nothing in our recommendation is steered by which brand carries the best trade discount, which is not something an integrator can say.
We use this kit every week
The advice comes from running shows on it, not from a spec sheet. There is a real difference between equipment that reviews well and equipment a small team can operate on a Tuesday.
Audio first, always
It is the biggest available improvement in nearly every setup we see and the one nobody has been taught to hear. Cameras are the easy half and they come second.
Designed for whoever will actually operate it
Not for the most technical person on your team — for whoever is free that day. If it cannot be run from a checklist, it will quietly stop being used.
We will tell you to spend less
If your problem is a microphone placement rather than a studio build, that is what we will say. It is a smaller invoice and a better outcome.
Frequently asked
The questions we get every week.
We already bought equipment and it still looks and sounds bad. Can you fix that?
That is the most common reason people call, and it is usually good news. In most rooms the problem is signal path, microphone placement, lighting position or settings rather than a shortage of equipment — all of which are fixable without spending again. We would rather find that and tell you than sell you a second set of gear on top of the first.
Do you sell the equipment as well?
No, and that is deliberate. We rent and produce on this kit rather than reselling it, so we take no distributor margin and nothing in the recommendation is shaped by which brand pays best. You buy from wherever you like — we will tell you exactly what to get.
Should we build a studio or just rent one?
It depends almost entirely on how often you shoot. Below roughly a shoot a fortnight, renting a studio is cheaper and better and we will say so. Above that, building starts to pay back — and the honest answer changes with your cadence, not with the size of your company.
Do we need soundproofing?
Far less often than it gets sold. Soundproofing stops sound entering or leaving a room; acoustic treatment controls how the room sounds, and the second is what usually matters for recording. Many rooms are fixed with placement and soft furnishing. Some genuinely need treatment, and we will tell you which yours is rather than quoting the expensive answer by default.
What does a consultation cost?
We quote after seeing the space, because a room changes the answer far more than a brief does. What we will not do is publish a number for a job we have not looked at — and the visit itself frequently pays for itself in the equipment it stops you buying.
Can you train our team, or do we need you every shoot?
Training is the point. Any setup that depends on us being available has failed, so the handover includes hands-on training for your own people and a written start-up and recording checklist. We stay reachable, but the intent is that you do not need to call.
